![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you come out of the port and walk north round past the Marina there is a footpath that takes you past the Port Marina to some beautiful beaches and rocky coves. At about 2 klm you will come to La Fosca beach, a lovely sandy bay with clean shallow water. If you are feeling fit you can continue to the totally unspoilt Platja Castell, a wide beach that was saved from development by public protest about 15 years ago. If you go to the left when you leave the port, you will come to the main beach and promenade. This promenade is about two miles long and curves round the bay to Sant Antoni with bars and shops most of the way. At the end you can continue on the coastal path to some incredible secluded rocky and sandy coves. So why not get planned, have a picnic in your bag and go for a stroll. It won't cost you a penny and you will get some beautiful photos. But remember you have to walk back so don't miss the boat!
